Muscovites will name their favorite locations for spring photo shoots

Residents of the capital will determine the most popular places for spring photo shoots in Moscow. Voting has already begun in the Active Citizen project, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Among the options are scenic spots in different parts of the city. These are the Tsaritsyno and Kolomenskoye nature reserves, the Museon Art Park, the Hermitage Garden, and others," Sergunina said.
Also on the list are Catherine Park, which attracts citizens with cherry blossoms, and Biryulevsky Arboretum with a cherry grove. It ranks second among Moscow parks in terms of the number of rare plant specimens. Here, in particular, you can see Weymouth pines or Maaki Amur. And in the park "Lilac Garden", which is located near Shchelkovsky highway, lilac varieties such as "beauty of Moscow" and "Alexey Maresyev" are collected.
Users can choose up to five options or offer their own.
The list of candidate locations is presented on the "Blooming Map" in the "Spring in Moscow" section of the Russpass travel service.
