- The results of the federal educational marathon Znanie have been summed up.First

On April 30, the federal educational marathon Znanie ended in Moscow at the site of the Victory Museum. The first, dedicated to the celebration of the anniversary of the Great Victory of the Russian people over fascism. For three days, more than 130 outstanding lecturers from all federal districts and 11 regions of our country told young people about events that have no statute of limitations, highlighted little-known facts about the days when all nationalities, as today, were united in the struggle for a distinctive future, and discussed how the events of the past affect our common the present and positions of Russia in the modern world order. More than 25,000 young people joined the marathon in person, and about 37 million watched the online broadcast.
One of the main guests of Poklonnaya Gora on the final day of the Znanie marathon. The first was Russian President Vladimir Putin, who emphasized the merits of the Znanie Society, which was revived in 2021, in implementing effective lecturing activities. According to the President, this is where the success of the newly launched educational organization lies: according to recent sociological studies, the level of trust in "Knowledge" among the inhabitants of our country reaches 80%.
It is important to note that the current activities of the Znanie Society are no longer limited to Russia, but are actively expanding to the borders of the CIS and other countries. So, this time the participants of the marathon are Knowledge. The first were students from Uzbekistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Angola, Madagascar, Mongolia. This shows the desire of young people all over the world to know the truth about the events of the past and present.
"This marathon has left a very vivid impression. It differs from all previous ones not only in scale, but also in content, because it is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, a historical period that left a mark on every Russian family, in each of us. During the marathon, we talked about fundamental things: about the people, about the memory, about our heroic ancestors who were able to stand up and win. We talked about what unites us today, makes us strong and caring. I was especially inspired by the fact that the marathon participants — young people from all over the country — showed great engagement. They asked important, in-depth questions, searched for answers, and actively engaged in the discussion. In these guys, I saw a new generation of citizens — conscious, caring, ready to take responsibility for the country and its future. They already understand today that historical memory is not only about the past, but also about the future. I would like to thank the lecturers for their interesting and informative presentations, the audience, the young people for their great involvement, and, of course, the Znanie team, which made it possible to organize such an unprecedented event. We will move on to new heights," said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Znanie Society.
The main guests at the marathon were veterans of the Great Patriotic War who fought for Victory at the front and in the rear. It is deeply symbolic that they were joined by participants in a special military operation and war correspondents who today, just like 80 years ago, defend Russia's borders and defend the right to sovereignty and independence of our people. The guys met and saw off the heroes of our country from two eras, were actively interested in the stories of exploits, many had tears in their eyes.
Public and government figures, heads of major companies, scientists, masters of culture and art, athletes, doctors and other prominent people also spoke to young people about the struggle for truth, peaceful life and, of course, about Russia's victories in various fields. And all for good reason. According to the results of a survey of participants in the marathon program, 82% of schoolchildren and students feel proud of Russia, 71% feel respect for the country's past, and over 90% of the children were inspired by the speakers' lectures to take a more active part in the fate of the country.
During the marathon, its participants, with the support of the Znanie Society, created a Memorial Wall in the Victory Museum, where they posted more than 1,300 photographs of their relatives who defended their Homeland at the front and in the rear during the Great Patriotic War.Knowledge was very popular among the guys.A library where one could receive books recommended by prominent people from among the lecturers of the Znanie Society as a gift. In three days, schoolchildren and students became the owners of 3.8 thousand books.
The Knowledge marathon program. The first helped young people realize how deeply the history of the Great Patriotic War and the Victory of our people in the fight against Nazism unites all Russians. After all, there is no family that has not been touched by the trials of war in the past, and each of us has our own heroes. The marathon also became a source of inspiration for schoolchildren and students to actively participate in patriotic projects, preserve historical truth and achieve their own victories in the name of the country.
The educational content prepared during the three days of the program from April 28 to April 30 will be available to everyone on the website of the Znanie Society and in the official community of the educational organization VKontakte.
