An international press center is preparing to open in Moscow for Victory Day

In Moscow, an international press center is preparing to open in the central exhibition hall "Manege", from where the celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) will be covered all over the world. It will be able to accommodate at least 400 journalists, the footage will be published by Izvestia on May 6.
At the entrance to the Manege there is an exhibition of military equipment from the time of the Second World War.
"The international press center does not begin with a hanger, but with an exhibition of Victory weapons. Right at the entrance to the Manege is the legendary T—34 tank, next to it is the ZIS-3 cannon, the M—30 howitzer and, of course, the Katyusha," said Izvestia journalist Anton Zolotnitsky.
Inside, in a full-fledged press hub, correspondents from different countries will receive high-speed Internet access and a huge broadcast screen to help them with their work. At the same time, they will work on completely Russian computer technology. Anton Baranov, an IT support specialist at the press center, said that these will be Giant computers. They are currently installing the desktop, browsers, and finishing the latest machine settings.
To fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere, media representatives will be surrounded by posters from the war years. In addition, one of the stands will feature a reprint of a special issue of the Izvestia newspaper dated May 9, 1945, where the whole country was congratulated on the victorious end of the war and victory over Nazi Germany. It will also be possible to see paintings restored using the Kandinsky neural network that were lost or almost lost during the war.
The country's main Victory anniversary parade will traditionally take place on Red Square in Moscow. It will be attended by a number of foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
As Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on April 30, the high-level representation of many countries at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow indicates that they share the importance of the May 9 holiday. In his opinion, Russia has not just allies, but states that are close in spirit and ideology.
