In Florida, the bodies of a local resident and his dog, who died as a result of a bear attack, were found. This was reported on May 6 by NBC News.

"We know for sure that it was a bear attack. We don't know if it was the same bear or if there were several of them," said George Reynaud, a representative of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Police officers are trying to find the bear using a drone. Special traps were also set up in the immediate vicinity of the attack site.
