The expert predicted the ruble exchange rate this week

During the week, price fluctuations are expected in the range of 79-86.5 rubles per dollar, 88-96 rubles per euro and 10.8–11.8 rubles per yuan, according to Spartak Sobolev, head of Research and Investment Strategies at Alfa-Forex. He told Izvestia about this on May 6.

On May 6, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation set the exchange rate of the American currency at 81.9 rubles, the European currency at 92.9 rubles, and the Chinese currency at 11.3 rubles. At the same time, according to the Moscow Stock Exchange, on May 5, the yuan is trading at 11.2 rubles.

"In the first half of May, significant changes in the current dynamics of ruble instruments are probably not expected. The long weekend will reduce trading activity in the foreign exchange market, and the main factors affecting the exchange rate remain related to geopolitics," Sobolev concluded.
