A Crimean resident was detained for calling for the destruction of the Crimean Bridge

A local resident was detained in Crimea for calling for the destruction of the Crimean Bridge. This was reported on May 6 in the press service of the regional department of the Federal Security Service (FSB).

It is specified that the 52-year-old resident was a participant in the Ukrainian chats of the Telegram messenger, in one of them he called for the destruction of the Crimean Bridge.

A criminal case has been opened against the man under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities committed using the Internet"). The defendant faces up to seven years in prison.

Earlier in the day, employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Primorsky Krai stopped the activities of a local resident involved in committing treason in the form of providing assistance to a representative of Ukraine directed against the security of the Russian Federation. A criminal case has been opened against Primorets under Article 275 ("High treason") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He was given a preventive measure in the form of detention.
