In Novosibirsk, a teacher received 3 million rubles from students for a gym pass


A criminal case has been opened against the head of the department of Novosibirsk University, who received more than 3 million rubles in bribes from students for access to the gym of the educational institution. This was reported on May 6 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.
"According to investigators, in the period from February 2018 to April 2024, the accused developed a plan according to which he <...> allowed students to visit the gym for an illegal fee of 1 thousand rubles per person per month, which was transferred to his account and his wife's account," the message says. the agency's website.
The prosecutor's office added that the students who paid the accused were exempted from physical education classes and, despite this, were allowed to take an interim assessment. During the specified period, the head of departments received a total of more than 3 million rubles from students.
A criminal case has been opened against him under paragraph "e" of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abuse of official authority").
