Ukrainian citizens have been coming to Moldova for the last three years to celebrate Victory Day over Nazi Germany. This was announced on May 6 by Alexey Petrovich, head of the Pobeda Coordination Committee.
According to him, there were no cases when Ukrainians would try to prevent the holding of Victory Day events.
"During 2022-2024, Ukrainians came from border settlements to take part in commemorative events on the occasion of Victory Day," he told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, on May 1, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that currently the glory for the Kiev regime is not the persistent heroes of the Great Patriotic War, but collaborators, Bandera and neo-Nazis. Because of this, they take such immoral steps as exhuming the remains of Soviet soldiers on the Hill of Glory in Lviv, she noted.
