The Central Bank blocked 5.2 thousand Internet resources of financial pyramids in the first quarter

In the first quarter of 2025, the Central Bank of Russia blocked more than 5,200 Internet resources of financial pyramids and illegal financial service providers. This was reported on May 6 in the press service of the regulator.

"This is almost 56% more than in the same period of 2024, but 8.5% less than in the fourth quarter of 2024," the Central Bank said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.

According to TASS, in the first quarter of 2025, 897 entities with signs of illegal professional participants in the securities market were identified, which is 13% more than in the fourth quarter of 2024, and 236 entities with signs of illegal creditors, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year.
