"Island of Dreams" will become the main venue for the celebration of May 9 in the Southern Administrative District

On May 9, the Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster will become the main venue for Victory Day celebrations in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow.

In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 60th anniversary of the award of the title of "Hero City" to Moscow, together with the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative District of Moscow, GBUK Moscow "OKTs Southern Administrative District", GBU CD "Personality" and GBU DSC "World of the Young", "Island of Dreams" has prepared a special program and invites Everyone spend this day together.

On this day, the guests will:

– Concert of creative groups of the South of Moscow — holders of honorary titles of the Moscow Department of Culture;

– Interactive "Making a movie" — everyone can become an actor in a historical frame;

– Workshops, including camouflage netting and family game rooms;

– Atmospheric photo zones where you can take unique photos as a keepsake;

– An exhibition of military equipment and a field kitchen.

The main symbol of the day will be the unique installation "Hero Cities", created specifically for the anniversary date. Eleven tall panels dedicated to each of the Hero Cities will tell about the exploits, perseverance and unity of generations. This is not just an exhibition, but a chronicle of heroism and memory, where history comes to life.
