Muscovites were warned about temporary transport restrictions from May 7 to May 9.

Traffic restrictions are possible in Moscow from 7 to 9 May due to the ongoing events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported on May 6 in the press service of the mayor and the government.
Numerous foreign delegations at the highest and highest levels will arrive in the capital on the specified days.
"In this regard, restrictions on transportation will be introduced in the city. There may be limitations in the operation of the mobile Internet. We count on the understanding of Moscow residents and guests of the capital," the Moscow City News agency reports.
On the portal of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, it was noted that on May 7, temporary traffic restrictions will also be introduced in the city in connection with preparations for the Victory Day Parade. From 05:30 until the end of the event, a number of central streets and some underground pedestrian crossings will be closed in the city.
The country's main Victory anniversary parade will traditionally take place on Red Square in Moscow. It will be attended by a number of foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
As Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on April 30, the high-level representation of many countries at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow indicates that they share the importance of the May 9 holiday. In his opinion, Russia has not just allies, but states that are close in spirit and ideology.
