Natalie Pavlik, a native of Russia, will take over the post of Minister and Commissioner of the Federal Government for Migration, Refugees and Integration in Germany. The relevant information appeared on the website of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) on May 5.

She was born on August 26, 1992 in the village of Vostok, located in the Tyumen region. Pavlik moved to Germany as a child with her parents. Since 2021, she has also been a member of the Bundestag for the Wetterau constituency.

"She is an example of successful integration, and in her early 25s she was already the commissioner of the Federal Government for resettlement and national minorities," the publication says.

The Bild newspaper reported on May 5 that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius will retain his post in the new government of the country. It was also clarified that Lars Klingbeil, co-chairman of the SPD, would become Vice Chancellor and finance minister. Chairman of the Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP) Berbel Bas will take over the post of head of the Ministry of Labor, and ex-judge Stephanie Hubig will head the Ministry of Justice.

Friedrich Merz, leader of the alliance of the Christian Democratic Union and the Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU), will take over as the new Chancellor of Germany. Outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wished him success and good luck.
