Sobyanin: the wreckage of the downed drone fell on Kashirskoye highway in Moscow
The wreckage of a downed Ukrainian drone heading towards Moscow fell on Kashirskoye highway. This was announced on May 6 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
He noted that emergency services are working at the scene.
"All necessary measures are being taken," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.
The mayor also clarified that no one was injured in the incident, no damage was recorded.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 105 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) overnight. It is specified that 32 UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk region, 22 drones over the Voronezh region, 19 over the Moscow region, and 10 more were shot down over the Penza region. Drones were also intercepted over the Kaluga, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Samara, Vladimir, Kursk and Rostov regions.
