The Kornet ATGM crews destroyed the AFU units in their area with missile launches.

Crews of the Kornet anti-tank missile systems (ATGMS) of the Guards Airborne Assault Don Cossack Regiment from Feodosia of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Airborne Unit used guided missiles to destroy units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) that were rotating in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on May 6 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"We work mainly in bad weather, when the FPV cannot work. That is, drones land when there is fog, poor visibility, rain, and such moments. We are working remotely, the range of this ATGM is 3 km," said a senior crew member with the call sign Kim.

He clarified that intelligence had discovered a temporary deployment point (LDPE) of Ukrainian militants, inside which an observation post was equipped, and then transmitted the coordinates to the calculations.

The paratroopers decided to destroy the LDPE by launching missiles from the Kornet ATGM. At the moment when a car with personnel drove up to the enemy's point, the servicemen deployed the complex, aimed it and fired a salvo, as a result of which all targets were destroyed. According to the senior crew, the fire was conducted from the top floor of the building.

On May 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the crews of T-72 tanks of the Vostok group of forces disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the SVO zone. The tankers received the coordinates for the strike from the operators of reconnaissance drones. After that, the crews moved into a firing position and struck at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
