Three people died in a four-car accident near Gelendzhik

As a result of a collision of four cars near Gelendzhik in the Krasnodar Territory, three people were killed. This was reported on May 5 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"On the highway between the village of Mikhailovsky Pass and the village of Betta, a Hyundai driver drove into the oncoming lane where he collided with a VAZ-2114. Due to inertia, a domestic car tipped over a roadside fence," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that Hyundai continued driving in the oncoming lane, where it made a head-on collision with a Peugeot with a trailer, into which a VAZ-2104 car crashed from behind.

The ministry noted that before the arrival of medics, the 46-year-old Hyundai driver and his 45-year-old passenger, as well as the 57-year-old driver of one of the domestic cars, died, and the passenger of the VAZ was taken to a medical facility with various injuries.

On May 5, a car hit a group of road workers in the Lipetsk region, two of whom were born in 1982 and 1988, died, and one was hospitalized. It was clarified that the driver of the Dodge car, who was hit, and his passenger were not injured.

At the same time, two people were killed in an accident in the Iskitimsky district of the Novosibirsk region. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) and an investigative task force worked at the scene of the accident, the circumstances are being clarified.
