HC Lokomotiv beat Salavat Yulaev and reached the final of the Gagarin Cup


The Lokomotiv hockey club from Yaroslavl beat Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the fifth match of the Fonbet playoff series of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and reached the final of the Gagarin Cup.
The match took place on May 5 at the Yaroslavl club's home Arena 2000 and ended with a score of 4:2. Thus, Lokomotiv won the series and reached the finals, winning four out of five matches.
As part of the Yaroslavl team, strikers Alexander Radulov (6th minute and 58th) and Egor Surin (35th and 51st) scored a double. Forwards Scott Wilson (22nd) and Alexander Khmelevsky (47th) scored for Salavat.
The Gagarin Cup final will begin on May 13 in Yaroslavl.
On May 3, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv defeated Ufa Salavat Yulaev in the fourth match of the semifinal series of the Gagarin Cup. The match ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Yaroslavl club.
