In Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada was surrounded with barbed wire


In Kiev, the building of the Verkhovna Rada and the territory adjacent to it were fenced with barbed wire. This was reported on May 5 by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.
"The network showed the Verkhovna Rada surrounded by barbed wire," follows from the message in the Telegram channel.
The published footage shows a 1.5 m high barbed wire fence. It protects the entire territory of the Verkhovna Rada.
In addition, according to the newspaper, after the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, entry into the territory of the main government buildings in the capital is prohibited. Access to the parliament building, the government building and the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky is also blocked.
On April 30, a rally was held in Kiev demanding to set clear terms of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In addition, it was reported that on the same day, a rally in support of the missing began on Independence Square, which was attended by several hundred people.
