Sobyanin opened a new exhibition at the Victory Museum

A new exhibition "The Path to Victory" has opened in the museum complex on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, and the Minister of Culture of Russia, Olga Lyubimova.
The exhibition features relics from the museum's collection. For example, the "Flerov Tree" is a fragment of an aspen tree, into which a piece from the Katyusha installation pierced, the mayor of Moscow said in a Telegram channel.
"I am sure that the exhibition will be interesting for everyone — adults, youth and children. It will be a good gift to Muscovites and guests of the capital for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory," Sobyanin stressed.
Also, for the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the museum for the first time "revived" the diorama complex with the help of multimedia technologies. The key battles — for Moscow, the Battle of Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk, the storming of Berlin and others can be viewed in dynamics.
100 museums have donated their relics for the new exhibitions. Among them is a volume of Pushkin, pierced by a German fragment and saved the life of the future scientist Andrei Timofeev. Also in the museum you can see the tunic and headset of the T-34 tank driver Alexandra Raschupkina, who fought at the front under her male name.
