The Belarusian crossover entered the top five of the Russian market for the first time this year.

The Belgee X50 crossover, which is produced at the Belgee plant in Belarus, entered the top five of the Russian car market for the first time in 2025. This was reported on May 5 by the analytical agency Autostat.

According to the results of the 18th week of this year (from April 14 to April 20), 741 new X50 were sold in Russia, which allowed the model created on the basis of the Chinese Geely Coolray to reach the fourth place in sales in Russia. The Belgee crossover surpassed the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (721 units) in popularity in the Russian market, which took fifth place.

In the first place in the rating is the Lada Granta family (2,460 units). The second and third places are occupied by Lada Vesta (1,310 units) and Haval Jolion (1,117 units), respectively.

In total, 19.6 thousand new passenger cars were sold in the Russian Federation during the reporting period. This is 17% less than a week earlier, and 30% lower than in the 17th week of 2024, analysts estimate.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that sales of new passenger cars in April 2025 in Russia amounted to 101.4 thousand units (cars under the age of three are taken into account). This is 25% less than in the same period last year, but 28% more than in March this year.
