Chery plans to introduce an all-wheel drive modification of the Tiggo 7L crossover to the Russian market. The start of sales is scheduled for the fall of this year, according to <url> Magazine on May 5. According to him, the appearance of a new transmission will not lead to changes in the powertrain of the model.

In mid-April, Chery began selling the front-wheel drive Tiggo 7L in Russia. The model is offered in three trim levels at a price of 2.78 million to 3.1 million rubles. The body of the Chery Tiggo 7L is 40 mm longer than that of the Tiggo 7 Pro Max. The length of the car is 4553 mm, the remaining dimensions remained the same, as well as the wheelbase (2670 mm).

The power plant is the same as the Tiggo 7 Pro Max. The new Tiggo 7L is available only in front-wheel drive and with an alternative 1.6 turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp (275 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration to "hundreds" takes 9.7 seconds. It is assumed that the Tiggo all-wheel drive 7L will become more dynamic.

On April 29, Chery reported on an unusual experiment. To demonstrate the rigidity of the Tiggo 8 CSH crossover, the company set up a test by building a "car tower". The body of the first car withstood a load of almost 11.5 tons.
