They can be used to log into the free version of Teams, where the main Skype functions are available, including video calls, messaging, and file sharing. In addition, the app offers the ability to organize meetings, manage calendars, and create communities.

Access to Skype data for users will be available until January 2026. They can export them themselves or wait for them to be deleted automatically.

The Skype platform was launched in 2003, Microsoft acquired it in 2011, and then tried to integrate Skype into various products such as Windows, Windows Phone, and Xbox.

In February, it was reported that the American corporation Microsoft will discontinue the Skype video calling service in May this year. At the same time, Microsoft did not comment on this situation at that time.
