The Russian capital continues to restore engineering, communal and social infrastructure in Lugansk and Donetsk, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at a working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is reported on the portal mos.ru .

The plans include putting 191 buildings, 35.5 km of utility networks, almost 652,000 square meters of roads and 21 hectares of public spaces in order. For example, in Donetsk, they intend to overhaul the polyclinic at Kalinin Hospital (building No. 10), the largest medical institution in the Donetsk People's Republic.

Earlier, major repairs and landscaping of the territory of Lugansk city polyclinic No. 12 and school No. 55 named after K.K. Rokossovsky were completed.

In total, in 2022-2024, the capital's specialists reconstructed about 2.3 thousand buildings and structures, restored more than 1 thousand km of engineering networks and almost 2 million square meters. m roads. In addition, Moscow also provides residents of the twin cities with water. Since 2022, 2.5 million cubic meters of industrial and drinking water have been delivered to Donetsk residents.

34 emergency brigades of the Moscow municipal economy complex (160 people and 76 pieces of equipment) are constantly working in Donetsk and Lugansk. Another 33 brigades are being sent additionally to Donetsk during the winter period.
