The Russian Embassy announced the arrival in Moscow of sailors injured in the strike on Yemen.

Three Russian sailors injured in the US airstrike on the Yemeni port of Ras Isa are in Moscow. This was announced on May 5 at the Russian Embassy in Yemen.

"All three injured sailors are currently in Moscow, where they are receiving medical care," an employee of the diplomatic mission told TASS.

It is specified that the Russians were evacuated from Yemen two days ago.

On the evening of April 26, Jamal Amer, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Houthi government in Sanaa, announced the injured sailors from the Russian Federation. He clarified that Roman Kashpor, Igor Kazachenko and Artyom Vanin were injured. Later, a representative of the Seven Pearls crew announced that the Russians had been transferred to Sanaa. According to him, there were 21 Russians on the ship, including citizens with chronic diseases who need to be examined. On April 30, the Russian Embassy in Yemen reported that one victim had been hospitalized and needed surgery, while two others were slightly injured.

On the morning of April 26, Al Masirah TV channel reported on a series of airstrikes by the United States on the territory of Yemen under the control of the Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement. It was clarified that Washington carried out an attack on Sanaa, as well as on the provinces of Saada, Al-Mahwit and Al-Hodeidah. According to the TV channel, one person was killed and another was injured as a result of the strikes.
