According to the mayor, the Moscow government is implementing "a unique, most ambitious program in the history of urban healthcare for the comprehensive reconstruction of primary care, which includes the modernization of about 340 polyclinic buildings." The implementation of the polyclinic modernization program according to the new standard began in 2020. The reconstruction of 290 polyclinics has already been completed, and 47 more buildings are in operation. The main activities of the program are planned to be completed by the end of 2025.
In addition, 68 buildings and other buildings of city hospitals were repaired as part of the inpatient modernization program. It is planned to complete the work in five years, when the number of renovated buildings will reach 150.
Since 2020, 59 new hospital buildings, polyclinics, ambulance substations and other healthcare facilities have been built in Moscow with a total area of 0.8 million square meters. m. By 2029, 53 more buildings with an area of about one million square meters are planned to be built.
In February, Sobyanin said that the personnel center of the Moscow Department of Health had implemented more than 100 additional education programs and 60 professional and socio-psychological trainings, 50 of them last year.
