In the Khabarovsk Territory, the CEO, who stole 650 million rubles for the state budget, was arrested

Ivan Dmitriev, CEO of Creative LLC, was arrested in the Khabarovsk Territory on suspicion of embezzling 650 million rubles during the implementation of the state defense order (GOZ). This was reported on May 5 in the press service of the Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

It was established that in 2019, the company signed contracts with the state customer for construction in the Khabarovsk Territory. The total amount of the contracts amounted to over 900 million rubles, and Dmitriev was responsible for overseeing the execution.

"In the period 2019-2020, Creative LLC did not complete the construction work in full, Dmitriev disposed of the budget funds paid as an advance in the amount of 650 million rubles at his discretion," says the Telegram channel of the GVSU SU of Russia.

Dmitriev is suspected of abusing his powers in fulfilling a state defense order (paragraphs "a" and "b" of Part 2 of Article 201.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and a criminal case has been opened against him. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the defendant. In addition, his property was seized in the amount of more than 20 million rubles.

On April 28, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the initiation of a criminal case on embezzlement of budget funds during the execution of the state defense order. In relation to Oleg Vasenin, ex-deputy head of the Department of Property of special projects of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. It was established that in 2022, a contract was signed with Translom LLC for the provision of services for the acceptance of secondary raw materials. Subsequently, Vasenin provided deliberately false documents about the value of the paradise and committed embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of over 240 million rubles.
