All the quarterfinalists of the NHL playoffs have become known.

After the Winnipeg Jets won the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff series against the St. Louis Blues on May 5, the Stanley Cup quarterfinals were decided.

The pairs were formed as follows: Toronto Maple Leafs — Florida Panthers, Washington Capitals — Carolina Hurricanes, Winnipeg Jets — Dallas Stars, Vegas Golden Knights - Edmonton Oilers. The current defending champion is the Florida Panthers.

The first quarterfinal game will be played in Canada between Toronto and Florida. on the night of May 6th. All playoff series will have up to four wins for one of the teams.

Earlier, on May 4, the Dallas Stars hockey club defeated the Colorado Avalanche in the seventh game of the first round of the NHL playoffs and advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup. The game ended with a score of 4:2. Mikko Rantanen scored a hat-trick for the winning team, Whitt Johnston scored another goal, and Ilya Lyubushkin scored an assist.
