Musk ridiculed the British Navy after comparing it to the Russian Navy

American billionaire Elon Musk has mocked the British Navy after comparing it to the Russian Navy.
"What happened to the vaunted British Navy?" Musk wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter) on May 5.
This is how the billionaire reacted to a post by blogger Mario Naufal, who, referring to Responsible Statecraft (a publication of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Government in Washington, an analytical center. — Ed.), wrote that since 2011, Russia has built 27 submarines, six large frigates, nine corvettes and 16 missile boats, which are equipped with modern missiles.
The United Kingdom, according to Responsible Statecraft, sent four ships, including one aircraft carrier, on a "world tour" during the same period, thereby leaving only nine ships to protect their own waters.
In January, the media reported that the British Navy mistakenly mistook a whale for Russian underwater drones. Initially, the military believed that Russia could allegedly drop a "listening device" on the seabed between the island of Raasey and the Applecross Peninsula in northwestern Scotland. At the same time, analysts initially considered the recorded sounds anthropogenic, which had not happened in this area for 55 years.
