A seasonal free pet vaccination program has begun in Moscow.

Temporary pet vaccination points have opened in Moscow next to dog walking areas. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow Veterinary Committee on Monday, May 5.

"In spring and summer, there will be more than 100 of them in the city. <...> You can find the nearest vaccination center and get acquainted with its work schedule on the website mos.ru . It's easy to find out a mobile vaccination point — it's a blue tent or a special vehicle with the logo of the state veterinary service of Moscow," the Moscow City news agency quotes the message.

Vaccinations can also be done in the capital's state veterinary clinics, RT reports. In addition, pet owners can arrange a visit to the veterinarian's house for vaccination.

The committee clarified that dogs, cats, ferrets and raccoons can be vaccinated for free, Moscow 24 clarifies. The pet must be healthy and older than three months. Deworming is required before vaccination.

To carry out vaccination, owners need to take their pet's veterinary passport with them so that the doctor can make all the necessary marks, writes RIAMO.
