The Sochi airport administration has not confirmed the information about the collision of the plane with a hare on the runway in Adler. No foreign objects were found during the additional inspection of the runway.

KrasnodarMedia news agency clarifies: earlier it was reported that during landing at Sochi airport, an Azimut Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft allegedly collided with a hare on the runway. It happened on the night of May 4 during the landing of a flight from Tel Aviv to Sochi.

The crew reported the collision at a distance of 200 m from the runway intersection after completing the run. There were no casualties among the passengers and crew.
