As of 08:00 on May 5, no natural fires were registered in the Khabarovsk Territory. During the May holidays, six fires were discovered, but they were extinguished on the first day after the discovery.

The total area of fires was 1.2 thousand hectares. 53 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment fought the fire. The fires were located near settlements in the Bikinsky district, the Lazo district and the Solnechny district. Currently, the fire season is open in 35 out of 40 forest districts, and a special fire protection regime has been introduced in 12 municipal districts and districts of the region.
