Gorky Street was excavated in Lipetsk due to a pipe break

In Lipetsk, the section along Gorky Street between Sovetskaya and March 8 was temporarily closed due to an accident on infrastructure networks. This was announced on Monday, May 5, according to the press service of the Mayor's office.

A burst plumbing was found on the road. RVC-Lipetsk utilities are already working on troubleshooting the problem.

Drivers are asked to choose alternative routes and exercise caution. The restoration of traffic will be announced later.

According to GOROD48, new asphalt was laid on 8 Marta and Gorky streets in 2022-2023. Already in 2024, the city's heat supply company Quadra was changing its pipes on both streets.

Earlier it was reported that more than 300 million rubles will be allocated for road repairs in Lipetsk in 2025. There are plans to update the canvas on the streets of Kovalev, Bauman, Stakhanov, Radiant and others.
