On May 5, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Getmantsev demanded that the Ukrainian authorities publish the full text of the agreement with the United States on mineral resources, including any details and specifications.

"The primary sources, including specifications, details and other subtle points, must be published," Getmantsev wrote on his Telegram channel.

He also added that the Ukrainian side failed "to fully defend everything that it had hoped for."

"The only thing I cannot accept is the desire of government officials to conceal the truth," Getmantsev added.

On May 1, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant announced that Washington and Kiev had signed an agreement on natural resources. In addition, the countries have concluded a deal on the creation of an investment fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
