In Saratov, the Georgian Shop cafe was suspended, in which 10 people were poisoned. This was reported on May 5 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service (GU FSSP) of Russia for the region.

"The bailiffs of the Frunzensky district have suspended the activities of the Gruzinskaya Lavka cafe on Stolypin Avenue," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the reason for the closure of the cafe was a message from the regional center for hygiene and epidemiology about the hospitalization of 10 people with acute intestinal infection, four of them with a final diagnosis of salmonellosis.

According to the Federal Migration Service for the region, the court considered the cafe's activities unsafe and decided to suspend its work for 60 days.

Earlier, on April 16, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan opened a criminal case into the mass poisoning of cafe patrons in Almetyevsk. The reason for the investigation was the intestinal infection of 14 people, including four minors. All of them visited the cafe, which opened on April 11, from April 12 to April 14.
