A runaway horse caused an accident at an intersection in Khabarovsk

In Khabarovsk, a horse that escaped from its owner caused an accident at the intersection of Bolshaya and Demyan Bedny streets, almost falling under the wheels of a car and damaging a foreign car. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region on May 5, the owner of the animal will have to pay a fine, according to the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The fact that there is a frightened animal on the road was reported by eyewitnesses to the duty station of the city police department. Traffic police officers quickly identified the horse's owner.
"A 50-year-old native of Primorsky Krai lives in a private house a few hundred meters from the accident site. The man explained that the Orel trotting horse, named the Caster, had inadvertently left the compound on his own," the department's Telegram channel says.
The animal was caught and returned home. They explained to his owner that he had violated clause 25.6 of the Traffic Regulations of the Russian Federation, according to which owners or drivers of riding animals are prohibited from leaving them on the road without supervision. A protocol has also been drawn up under Part 2 of Article 12.29 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Traffic violations by pedestrians or other persons involved in traffic"), according to which a man must pay a fine of 800 rubles.
In December last year, a car collided with a tiger in the Khabarovsk Territory, and the predator died from its injuries.
