The Head of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, will attend the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9. This was reported on May 5 by the national news agency Montsame.

"On May 9, the president will take part in the Victory Day celebration ceremony on Red Square along with other heads of state and dignitaries, and will lay flowers at the monument to the unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden," the publication says.

It is specified that the Mongolian leader will pay a visit to Moscow at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He will also meet with Russian citizens who have been awarded the titles of Hero of the Mongolian People's Republic and Hero of Labor.

The country's main Victory anniversary parade will traditionally take place on Red Square in Moscow. It will be attended by a number of foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian President Lula da Silva.

As Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted, the high-level representation of many countries at the Victory Day Parade in Moscow indicates that they share the importance of the May 9 holiday. In his opinion, Russia has not just allies, but states that are close in spirit and ideology.
