Six settlements are cut off from transport links due to flooding in Primorye

In Primorsky Krai, six settlements were cut off from transport links due to flooding. This was announced on Monday, May 5, by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The passage is closed to all types of transport. The villages of Vesely and Skvortsovo were cut off <...> A bridge was washed out on the Molchanovka —Slinkino road section. The settlements of Slinkino and Partizan have been cut off," the ministry said in a statement.

The bridge over the Svetly River, the area in front of the suspension bridge near the village of Polynikha and the pipeline crossing on the Olga–Romanovka –Partizansk highway were also flooded.

The villages of Berezovka and Polynikha were deprived of transport links.

Earlier, on March 18, in the city of Asha, Chelyabinsk region, the water level on the Sim River rose sharply, as a result of which a local emergency regime was introduced. Due to the sudden congestion in the northern part of the Sim River, flooding occurred in two districts of the city.
