Trump announced the possible future presidency of Vance


US President Donald Trump on Sunday, May 4, said that the current American Vice President Jay Dee Vance could be nominated as a candidate for the post of the next head of the White House after his resignation.
"I have a vice president, and J.D. is doing a fantastic job <...> he can become the head of state, but I don't want to get involved in this," Trump said in an interview with NBC News.
Trump also mentioned US Secretary of State Marco Rubio as a possible candidate in the future presidential race. According to the American leader, Rubio is "a good politician."
Earlier in the day, Trump announced that he was not going to run for a third term. Trump also added that he does not intend to interfere in the selection of a future successor to the post of head of state.
