British analyst Mercuris accused Trump of returning to Biden's policy

US President Donald Trump is gradually returning to the policy of American ex-president Joe Biden. This was announced on Sunday, May 4, by British analyst Alexander Mercuris.

"He's becoming Joe Biden. He's actually going back to what Biden did," he said on Duran's YouTube channel.

According to the analyst, this is due to problems with the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. Trump is returning to anti-Russian sanctions and arms supplies to Ukraine, as he does not want to be caught failing to fulfill his election promises, Mercuris believes.

The US president signed almost 140 decrees, imposed duties and began to establish relations with Russia.

Prior to that, on April 29, Trump said that Russian President Vladimir Putin was easier to deal with than Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. He clarified that he was trying to end the conflict, but Ukraine wanted more weapons and security guarantees from the United States.
