A lawyer from one of the Swiss federal institutions was fined 6.9 thousand francs (about 693,000 rubles. — Ed.) for spitting on the plaque of the Russian Embassy in Bern. This was announced on Sunday, May 4, by the Blick agency.

According to the agency, in February 2024, a lawyer stopped while jogging to spit on a sign of the Russian diplomatic mission. The offense was recorded by the camera.

As a result, even the Swiss Minister of Police and Justice, Bit Jan, took part in the proceedings, since the lawyer's action was qualified as a "political crime that violates relations with foreign countries."

On January 28, a Ukrainian citizen tried to enter the Russian Embassy in Stockholm by car. The violator was detained.

It is noted that the diplomatic mission has repeatedly pointed out to law enforcement agencies and the Swedish Foreign Ministry that the man poses a potential danger to both the embassy and others in general.
