Striker Alexander Sobolev's double brought Zenit St. Petersburg football club (FC) victory over Pari Nizhny Novgorod (Pari NN) in the match of the 27th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match took place on Sunday, May 4, in St. Petersburg and ended with a score of 2:1.

Vyacheslav Grulev, a football player from the Nizhny Novgorod club, scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute. Already in the 54th and 83rd minutes, Sobolev scored two goals, thereby bringing victory to his team, Sport-Express clarifies.

Zenit is second in the RPL standings with 57 points. FC Krasnodar won the first place (61).
