The Dome of Donbass foiled 266 attacks by Ukrainian UAVs on the DPR in a week.


The Dome of Donbass air space protection and electronic warfare system thwarted 266 terrorist attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on civilians and infrastructure of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 5 by the Office of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
It is noted that over the past week, the Dome of Donbass has detected and intercepted drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). over Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and Mariupol.
For example, a Ukrainian Mavic 3 copter was intercepted in the Kiev region of Donetsk, and in Mariupol, an electronic warfare system stopped an attempt by Ukrainian Armed Forces militants to launch a terrorist attack on the city center using a drone armed with a high-explosive warhead.
During the week, 91 drones were intercepted over the territory of Gorlovka, the FSB department for the DPR clarified. A RAM II UAV Ukrainian reconnaissance and strike UAV containing an explosive device was also suppressed in the city.
According to the department, explosives experts used special technical means to neutralize the UAV and destroy explosive objects on the ground.
Earlier, on April 30, it was reported that the "Dome of Donbass" prevented the Ukrainian Armed Forces from attacking residential buildings in Donetsk. According to the UFSB in the DPR, Russian servicemen intercepted a Ukrainian copter, and explosives experts eliminated it with an overhead charge in a safe place.
