Brazil's ex-president Bolsonaro discharged from hospital

Former President Jair Bolsonaro was discharged from the hospital three weeks after intestinal surgery. This was announced on May 4 by the G1 portal.

"This Sunday, after announcing his discharge, the former president left the hospital on foot," the newspaper points out.

It is noted that at the entrance to the medical facility, Bolsonaro spoke with reporters and thanked those who supported him.

The former Brazilian leader underwent an operation that lasted about 12 hours, writes G1.

Bolsonaro was hospitalized on April 11 during a meeting in the municipality of Rio Grande after feeling abdominal pain. According to media reports, on April 13, the former president of Brazil, suffering from intestinal obstruction, underwent surgery to release intestinal adhesions and reconstruct the abdominal wall.
