The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired 120 shells at the Belgorod region over the past day, as a result of which four civilians were injured. This was announced on May 4 by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the villages of Krasnaya Yaruga and Prilesye, the villages of Vyazove, Grafovka, Demidovka, Otradovka and Popovka were subjected to 15 attacks, during which 92 ammunition was fired and 15 drones were attacked. Agricultural machinery was damaged by a drone strike in the village of Otradovka," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Shells were also fired at Valuysky, Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky municipal districts.

In total, according to the head of the region, 42 settlements were attacked. Strikes by more than 72 drones were recorded, 14 private households, a temple, a store, agricultural machinery, and cars were damaged.

The day before, Gladkov reported that three civilians, including one minor, were injured in the Belgorod region as a result of an attack by an AFU drone on the village of Arkhangelskoye. He clarified that the victims independently reached the Central District Hospital (CRH), where they received the necessary medical care.
