Power engineers restored power supply to the majority of consumers after the cyclone hit the Moscow region. This was reported on May 4 in the Telegram channel Rosseti Moscow Region.

They stressed that Rosseti's power engineers work around the clock.

The governor of the region, Andrey Vorobyov, clarified in his Telegram channel that work to restore power supply in the settlements affected by the accidents continued all night. According to him, the leadership of Rosseti of the Moscow region also took part in the headquarters meeting last night. Everything necessary to bring light back to every home will be done as soon as possible, Vorobyov stressed.

On May 2, an abnormal snowfall and strong wind knocked down trees, which led to damage to power lines. The accident was one of the largest in the last 15 years. Specialists have to not only repair the networks in some areas, but also rebuild them. In addition, accessibility difficulties arise, as some accidents occurred in swampy areas or where there was no road surface at all.

ROSSETI reported that about 230 teams, about 700 specialists and 265 pieces of equipment were sent to restore it. The work is carried out around the clock.
