The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced the results of the consensus reached between Russia and China

The consensus reached by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will contribute to deepening mutual trust between the two countries and cooperation in various fields. This was stated on May 4 in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, published on the official website.

"The important consensus of the two leaders will further deepen the political mutual trust between China and Russia, enrich the content of strategic cooperation, and promote practical cooperation in all fields," the publication says.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the two countries will continue to strengthen close cooperation within the framework of the United Nations, the SCO, and BRICS. Thus, the countries will work together to promote an equitable, orderly multipolar world.

Xi Jinping will arrive in Russia on May 7 at Putin's invitation. During the state visit, he will take part in celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Xi Jinping will also talk with Putin about the development of Sino-Russian relations, international and regional issues.

Putin in the documentary "Russia. Kremlin. Putin." 25 years" of the Rossiya TV channel, published on May 4, stated that relations between Russia and China today are of a strategic nature. In the context of global turbulence, they contribute to strengthening stability in the world.
