At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay an official visit to Russia on May 7-10 and take part in celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced by the Kremlin's press service on May 4.

"During the talks, the main issues of further development of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation relations, as well as topical issues on the international and regional agenda, will be discussed," the Telegram channel said.

In addition, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.

A number of foreign leaders have already confirmed their participation in the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9. Xi Jinping, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and other heads of state will take part in the celebrations.

On April 27, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the Kremlin would officially announce a list of all foreign leaders who would visit Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
