The Immortal Regiment campaign was held in Busan for the first time since 2019

For the first time since 2019, the Immortal Regiment campaign was held in Busan, South Korea, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced on May 4 by the press service of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Busan.

"More than 100 people, including the entire staff of the Consulate General <...>, proudly marched through the APEC Naru Park with portraits of their relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War, to the music of the war years and Victory songs," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that before the start of the march, a concert was held, which was prepared by Russian compatriots. In addition, employees of the Maritime Register of Shipping in Korea and parishioners of the Orthodox Church took part in the action.

In 2025, the campaign will be held in new formats.

On the same day, an action "Immortal Regiment" was held in Caracas, which was attended by about 450 people. Compatriots, indigenous people of the country and representatives of public organizations marched with portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
