Boxer Saul Alvarez became the absolute world champion again.


On May 4, Mexican Saul Alvarez was able to regain the title of absolute world champion in the second middleweight division by defeating Cuban William Scull in a boxing tournament. The championship was held in Riyadh.
The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with the victory of the Mexican with the score 115:113, 116:112, 119:109. On February 23, Russian boxers Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol fought for the title of the absolute light heavyweight champion of the world. The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Bivol's victory by decision of the judges.
