- The media reported on the formation of queues at the border with the Russian Federation in Estonia after military exercises

After the military exercises in Estonia, a queue formed at the border with the Russian Federation. This was reported on May 4 by ERR.
It is noted that the international checkpoint in Narva was closed on April 30 for military exercises. It was opened on May 3.
"Due to the exercises, the Narva-1 checkpoint was closed for three days. On Saturday, it started working normally, and queues of people wishing to cross the state border of Estonia and Russia reappeared in Narva," the article says.
The military exercises took place at the railway station in Narva. During them, the servicemen practiced cooperation on conducting a large-scale evacuation of the city's residents. The military needed to send soldiers acting as civilians as far away from the settlement as possible.
"To ensure the safety of the population, the Government of the republic, at the suggestion of the Armed Forces, is now launching a large—scale evacuation, and at the moment we are actually acting out actions during a large-scale evacuation," said Ivar Mai, evacuation adviser at the Estonian Rescue Department.
On April 18, it was reported that queues of people wishing to celebrate Easter holidays in Russia were appearing at the Narva–Ivangorod border crossing on the Russian-Estonian border.
