In the Philippines, an SUV crashed into the wall of the Manila International Airport building. This was reported on May 4 by the ABS-CBN News channel.

"The driver of a black Ford Everest, who had just dropped off a passenger, crashed into the western exit area from the curb after "a sedan suddenly passed in front of him, which caused him to forget to put his foot on the brake pedal," the publication reports.

It is specified that two people died as a result of the incident — a 28-year-old man and a five-year-old girl. Three people suffered non-fatal injuries and were taken to the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Pasay city.

The scene of the incident is currently being guarded. The access of outsiders to it is restricted by the police and the airport security service. The driver of the car was taken into custody for the proceedings.

Earlier, on May 2, in Stuttgart, Germany, a Mersedes G-class car drove into a group of people at a pedestrian crossing near a tram stop. The driver of the vehicle was detained by the police. According to preliminary data, eight people were injured.
